Tseung Kwan O Hospital is being expanded to address increasing service demand from an aged and growing population. The scope of development includes a new 176-bed as well as bridge connections between the new block and the present main block.

In this project, SPL employed high color rendering light sources. A bespoke lighting panel with an air hole is designed for a clean interior. To eliminate the strobe effect, each corridor features custom-made continuous lighting. Stairway lighting incorporates motion sensors to maximize energy savings.
