Admiralty Station is a vital interchange station in the MTR network of Hong Kong, accommodating over 80k passengers per hour during peak times. To increase safety and mitigate the possibility of accidents at the platform gap, we work with MTR to design and implement Platforms Gap LED Flashing Light System. This lighting management system integrates DALI drivers into a BMS and OSRAM e:cue SYMPHOlight System to synchronize the platform screen door system and RGBW LED lighting. The RGBW LED lighting flashes in blue, visually reminding passengers of the platform gap when the platform screen door opens.

Our innovative use of the DALI lighting control solutions to improve the safety and efficiency in the Hong Kong MTR system has earned us the Judges Special Mention Award in the Infrastructure category of the DALI Lighting Awards 2022.
